Terms and Conditions

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service. If you create an account, you also agree to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data.

Airclippy is a free utility for temporarily sharing text and files, generating PDFs and QR codes, shortening URLs in the browser, and storing private AI chat context for signed-in users. Features, limits, and availability may change at any time without notice.

Current limits include:

• Guest file uploads: up to 5 MB per file (up to 3 files)
• Signed-in file uploads: up to 100 MB per file (up to 10 files)
• Clipboard and file shares typically expire about 1 hour after last access
• AI Context Vault free-tier limits as described on the product and API docs pages

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Airclippy. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

An account is optional for basic clipboard use and required for larger uploads and AI Context Vault. You are responsible for keeping your password and API keys confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms, appear abandoned, or pose a security or abuse risk.

You retain ownership of text, files, and other content you submit (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant Airclippy a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, transmit, and display it solely to operate the sharing features you requested.

You represent that you have the rights to share that content and that it does not infringe others’ rights or violate the law. Temporary public shares may be viewed by anyone with the link or, in global mode, by other users of the public feed.

You agree not to use Airclippy to:

• Upload, share, or store illegal, harmful, or infringing content
• Distribute malware, phishing pages, or stolen credentials
• Share child sexual abuse material or content that exploits minors
• Harass, threaten, or dox others
• Spam, scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service
• Use the service as long-term file hosting, a CDN, or a backup system
• Circumvent size limits, expiry, authentication, or rate limits
• Misrepresent that Airclippy endorses your content

We may remove content or block access when we reasonably believe these rules have been broken. We are not obligated to monitor all User Content.

Airclippy is designed for short-lived convenience sharing, not as a secrets manager. Do not rely on it for highly sensitive data such as passwords, private keys, payment details, or health records. Optional encryption and auto-expiry reduce risk but do not make the service suitable for regulated or highly confidential material.

If you use AI Context Vault, you are responsible for API keys and scoped share tokens you create. Treat them like passwords. Anyone with a valid token may access context within the permissions you granted until the token expires or you revoke it. Do not embed secret keys in public repositories or client-side apps.

The Airclippy name, logo, website design, and software (excluding User Content) are owned by Airclippy or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our branding or code except as allowed by applicable law or a separate written license.

Airclippy is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, or that shared content will always be available until its stated expiry time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Airclippy and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to Airclippy will not exceed the greater of USD $0 (the amount you paid us, if any) or the minimum amount required by applicable law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

You agree to defend and indemnify Airclippy against claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using Airclippy at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, delete content, or discontinue features at our discretion, including for abuse, legal risk, or operational reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service.

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Airclippy regarding the service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions still apply. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization.
